History
Riverside’s history began in the’70s when Béla Szigethy and Stewart Kohl met at college. Since its founding by Mr. Szigethy in 1988 and the addition of Mr. Kohl in 1993, Riverside has grown into a global leader in private equity at the smaller end of the middle market.
