Riverside Helps Dwyer Sparkle
Dwyer Group Adds Bright & Beautiful to Franchise Portfolio
The Riverside Company has completed the add-on of Bright & Beautiful (B&B) for its Dwyer Group platform. B&B is a franchisor of housekeeping and cleaning services for residential customers in the UK.
B&B is the ninth add-on acquisition Riverside has completed for Dwyer Group since its 2014 investment, and the 15th overall franchising concept offered by Dwyer, which is among the world’s largest franchising companies of service brands.
“Bright & Beautiful is an outstanding concept and rapidly growing player in the residential cleaning space in the UK,” said Riverside Vice President Jason Fulton. “We’re excited to add scale to Dwyer’s UK offerings with a premier company that delivers a highly valued service.”
B&B has 50 franchisees with considerable room for expansion. It backs its franchisees with training and marketing. Typical customers are busy families who cannot find time for household chores. B&B’s offerings include floor cleaning, laundry, ironing, window cleaning and other common household tasks. B&B offers weekly or biweekly plans.
Dwyer Group President and CEO Mike Bidwell said the addition makes Dwyer even more capable.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bright & Beautiful to the Dwyer Group family of brands,” said Bidwell. “This addition helps Dwyer Group diversify our brand presence in the UK, taking us one step closer to offering a comprehensive residential and commercial service line-up to our customers.”
Riverside Partner Sarah Roth said B&B is a proven concept with multiple growth avenues that should deliver immediate benefits to Dwyer.
“B&B has room to add hundreds of franchisees in the UK, and Dwyer’s great network can help them expand internationally,” said Roth. “Additionally, both Dwyer and B&B will benefit from cross-selling opportunities across complementary concepts.”
Working with Fulton and Roth on the transaction for Riverside were Senior Associate Chase Eckert, Associate Ryan Collins, Associate Connor Ryan and Operating Partner Tom Anderson. Origination Principal Tommy Seddon sourced the deal for Riverside.
