Seatex is seeking to expand through add-on acquisition, in order to expand its geographic footprint, manufacturing capacity, and product set.
Capabilities of interest: Formulation and manufacturing capabilities including chemical reactions, complex blending, dry blending, packing/re-packing, and grinding and milling. End-markets of interest: Seatex currently produces products with end-market uses in specialty chemical, cleaning, agronomics, and energy industries. By way of add-on acquisition, the company intends to strengthen, augment and diversify its current end markets. Business models of interest: Seatex is interested in acquiring companies who act as a start-to-finish outsourcing partner for their customers, as well as companies who develop and sell products that are self-branded. Geographies of interest: Today, Seatex facilities are all in Texas: Pasadena (Houston), Rosenberg, and El Campo. Seatex is interested in expanding geography as well as strengthening its presence in Texas.
