Polishing the Platform: Riverside Adds Extra Sparkle to Evive Brands with Shine

The Riverside Company, a global investment firm focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has invested in Shine, a franchisor of residential and commercial window cleaning, holiday lighting, pressure washing and related services. This investment marks the latest add-on to Riverside’s portfolio company, Evive Brands, a fast-growing platform of franchise concepts serving homes and families across North America.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Jenison, Michigan, Shine operates through a network of over 75 territories across 20 states. Shine offers a range of year-round exterior services to residential and commercial customers, including window cleaning, power washing, roof and gutter cleaning and holiday lighting.

Shine joins an expanding Evive Brands portfolio that includes Executive Home Care, Assisted Living Locators, Grasons, Brothers Gutters, Maid Brigade, and most recently, Pacific Lawn Sprinklers. Together, the brands provide a diverse suite of services supporting families and communities nationwide.
